Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
There were many different factors that ended up influencing Dr. Sharolli to pursue dentistry for his career. As a child, he actually grew up without receiving any preventive dental care; as a result, he had to spend a lot of time in the dental chair in his teenage years, which ignited the first spark of his interest in dentistry. He also always had a mechanical mind that enjoyed repairing things while being talented at sciences and math in school, which were all qualities that were well suited to the field of dentistry. Over time, he realized that the exacting nature of dentistry and the ways in which it helps others really appealed to him – and his mind was made up.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Sharolli’s college career started at the University of North Texas. Following graduation, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Today, he is proud to focus on providing exceptional, long-lasting dental restorations and other important dental treatments that help his patients achieve an optimal state of oral health and function.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Sharolli attended High School in The Colony, TX. He and his wife, Diana, have been together since 1999. He is the youngest of eight children and, even though he does not have any children of his own, he does have 13 nephews and nieces. Something interesting about Dr. Sharolli is that all 4 of his sisters are at least over 20 years older than him – which meant he actually became an uncle before he was even born!
