Intraoral Cameras

Dentist capturing images with intraoral camera

In our dental office, we use our Mouthwatch intraoral camera to provide us with a better view of hard-to-see nooks and crannies of your mouth. It’s a small, ergonomic imaging device that we hook up to a chairside monitor so we can see an enhanced and enlarged image of your teeth and tissues that may not be visible to the naked eye. It also lets us show you any problem areas that we’re looking at, allowing us to better explain how a treatment will fix the issue and improve your oral health.

All-Digital X-Rays

Patient receiving digital x-ray scans

In the past, dentists used film X-rays that used chemicals that were harmful for the environment and exposed patients to higher doses of radiation, causing safety concerns. At Wichita Falls Dental, our commitment to the safety of our patients and higher level of dental care is one of the reasons why we have invested in digital X-ray imaging. Digital X-rays provide a much better image of your teeth and the bone that lies beneath your gums, allowing us to diagnose decay, periodontal conditions, and any other pathology more accurately and at an early stage. This technology also reduces patient radiation exposure by up to 90 percent in contrast to film X-rays.
